Consultant
Mr. Belanger is a Learning & Organizational
Effectiveness Consultant with over ten years of
global experience in organizational and leadership
development, change management, training design
and delivery, program and project management, and
sustaining learning and knowledge-based priorities
in the Fortune 500 corporate setting.
Jeff works with companies to
design, develop and implement learning and organizational
effectiveness, knowledge and communication cultures.
He leverages ten years of organizational learning
and technology communications strategy in the
commercial sector to help his clients understand
and maximize the effectiveness of their business
communication and sales goals. He has demonstrated
experience in designing and implementing education
and training curricula to promote public awareness,
building sales force capability and organizational
change campaigns for clients in various industries
and market segments.
Mr. Belanger left a position with Brodeur Worldwide
as Director of Online Communications located in
Boston, MA to launch the Boston
Intelligence Group, B.I.G., Inc., a global-minded
consulting company, with market focus on organizational
change and communications strategy. He continues
to consult with B.I.G. on a project basis. While
at Brodeur Worldwide, a global technology communications
consultancy headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts,
Jeff worked with global internal and external
clients to bridge the gap between "offline"
and online communications strategies, helping
them implement strategic online communications
programs that fit into their organizational and
business goals. While at Brodeur his areas of
expertise in knowledge management, online branding,
digital marketing, customer relationship management
and instructional technology design lead him to
successfully engage on projects in Boston, Washington
D.C., New York, Hong Kong and London.
Prior to joining the Brodeur Worldwide family
Mr. Belanger spent tenure with PricewaterhouseCoopers
(PwC) on assignment to the Learning and Professional
Development Center (LPD) in Tampa where he was
engaged in rolling out the new global curriculum
for Program and Project Management as a course
designer, trainer and facilitator. He additionally
played a significant role in developing and bringing
to market PwC "e-Learning" and "Knowledge
Management" services. His dual role required
him to travel around the world to teach project
management and team leadership skills in Sydney,
Calcutta, Zurich, London, Calgary, and the Tampa
PwC locations.
Mr. Belanger spent several years
prior to PwC working for Burson-Marsteller, a
global public relations and communications consulting
firm, in several capacities and job titles. Jeff
was the assistant to the Chief Knowledge Officer,
whose task was to design, construct and launch
"infodesk", a global KM infrastructure
and set of tools designed in line with business
and Knowledge Management objectives driven by
Tom Bell, CEO Burson-Marsteller. Jeff's role was
primarily focused on the internal training and
"cultural impact" of moving to a KM
and paper-free business environment. Jeff served
in other roles during his tenure including, Webmaster
for www.bm.com, Learning Designer and Specialist
for BM University, Associate of Grassroots Communications
and Online Communications Consultant for Healthcare,
and Public Affairs clients.
Through his professional, educational and travel
experience, Jeff has built a strong familiarity
with the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Belbin Team
Roles, Multiple Intelligence Theories and Honey
& Mumford Learning Styles Inventory and advance
adult learning theory. He also has a theoretically
and technically proficiency in educational simulation
design, execution and e-Learning best practices.
Jeff
is a graduate of St. John Fisher College, where
he earned a BA in Political Science, Middle Eastern
Studies. He spent a tenure at Richmond College,
London, U.K. during his university years building
a reputation and skill set in educational simulation
design. He has taught strategic online communication
courses at George Mason University and Emerson
College and has been a guest lecturer at the Canadian
Institute in Toronto and the Maine's Software
and Information Technology Industry Association
(MESDA).
